Celebrate Friendship This Galentine’s Day

There's a new holiday on February's calendar, and it's called Galentine's Day. The idea arose from a 2010 episode of NBC's Parks and Recreation, when main character Leslie Knope proclaimed it Galentine's Day, "only the best day of the year," and took all of her ladies out for a long lunch The concept resonated for a lot of women, and every year, more and more are deciding to celebrate their female friendships on February 13 by doing their own long lunches or making it a true girl's night out. It's an occasion we here at Nanz & Kraft Florists can get behind. Read More about Celebrate Friendship This Galentine’s Day »

Joyful Poinsettias for the Office

We here at Nanz & Kraft Florists love the holiday season for its rich palette of colors and textures, which our seasonal blooms capture perfectly. Glorious Cornucopia Centerpieces and More

One of Thanksgiving's most enduring symbols is the cornucopia, an expression of the harvest that came from Greek mythology. While in that case it was a goat horn that Zeus accidentally broke off, today the cornucopia is typically represented as a basket full of the fruits of the season's harvest. What hasn't changed? The ancient cornucopia and the modern one both symbolize abundance, the results of our endeavors over the growing season, and the nourishment we take from our hearths and homes. Is it any surprise then that we've made cornucopias into Thanksgiving centerpieces? Not to us at Nanz & Kraft Florists. Read More about Glorious Cornucopia Centerpieces and More »
