Nanz & Kraft Florists and Louisville Ballet join together for the annual Holiday Open House to provide ideas for holiday decor and gifts while supporting the Louisville Ballet School. The event will be held on Friday, November 8th, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Nanz & Kraft located at 141 Breckenridge Lane. A suggested $10 donation to the Louisville Ballet School at the door is appreciated.
Guests will have a chance to meet members of the cast from The Brown-Forman Nutcracker and bid on silent auction prizes, including tickets to the production. Nanz & Kraft will sell special holiday ornaments during the event with all proceeds benefiting the Louisville Ballet School. The evening will feature Woodford Reserve tastings with Brown-Forman’s Master Distiller of Whiskey Innovation, champagne tastings by Korbel, and hors d’oeuvres from Masterson’s Catering.
A live jazz band will provide entertainment. Nanz & Kraft is an avid supporter of the arts and a member of the Louisville Independent Business Association. Devoted community partners like Nanz & Kraft make the Louisville Ballet mission possible. “Did you know that Louisville Ballet relies on donors to support programs like the Louisville Ballet School scholarship fund?” asked Kate Bonner, Louisville Ballet Director of Development. “Ticket sales are only a slice of our revenue pie, and we are grateful for the generous donors who support our mission to make dance accessible for every BODY.“
The Louisville Ballet School, as a trusted leader in dance education and outreach, nurtures an appreciation for tradition and inspires a sense of innovation and shared experience. Students achieve their personal best as they move toward the future as artists, engaged citizens, audience members, and responsible healthy men and women.
In addition to the Friday event, you are invited to attend an afternoon open house on Sunday, November 10th, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with coffee, cider, and desserts.
Louisville Ballet’s The Brown-Forman Nutcracker runs December 14th through 22nd at Whitney Hall, The Kentucky Center.
