LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Four Roses Bourbon and Nanz & Kraft Florist are teaming up for the seventh consecutive Four Roses Flower Hour, a special Valentine’s shopping and bourbon tasting event, which will benefit the American Heart Association.  The event will be held on Friday, February 7, 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Nanz & Kraft in St. Matthews (141 Breckenridge Lane).

Four Roses Flower Hour provides an opportunity to take care of Valentine’s Day gifts while sipping award-winning bourbon and enjoying hors d’oeuvres with Master Distiller Jim Rutledge.  In addition, the first 100 guests to arrive will also receive a special Four Roses Valentine’s gift and an opportunity to enjoy the sounds of the Fred Bogert Trio.

Nanz & Kraft has prepared a “Go Red for Women” flower arrangement, available for purchase in store or at www.nanzkraft.com in which $10 from every arrangement will benefit AHA.

“This event continues to grow every year,” said Jim Rutledge, Four Roses Master Distiller.  “It’s an informal night where people can come out after work or before dinner to kick off their weekend, contribute to a great cause, relax and plan a special  Valentine surprise for their loved one.”

“Because our mission is to spread awareness about heart disease, we will be giving hands-only CPR tutorials as an added component at the event,” said Matt Rountree, communications director with American Heart Association.  “Heart disease is the number one killer amongst men and women, so it’s important we give the community the tools to help save a life.

The cost to attend Flower Hour is a minimum donation of $10 at the door, and 100 percent of all donations will benefit the American Heart Association.  Guests are encouraged to wear red in the spirit of Valentine’s Day and heart health.
