Winter’s Lavish White Blooms

Winter is the perfect time to experiment with flowers. There are a rich variety of cold-weather bloomers, and when they’re worked into designs, they really capture the season and speak to its best features. This is a time when we can bring in dark greens, pine cones, branches, berries and cinnamon sticks. Designs can be luxe, rustic or elegant. Nothing’s off the table.

Here at Nanz & Kraft Florists, we’re loving designs inspired by the winter landscape; think quiet walks in the snowy woods, bare branches dusted with snow and iced-over ponds glittering with sunshine.

Swap out that holiday centerpiece you’ve got gracing the table with something like our Wintery Opulence. Lush and visually arresting, this design shows what white flowers can really do. Given the consistent palette, texture becomes the main focus, with each bloom’s shape complementing the next. We’ve tucked in all manner of greens, including magnolia leaves, to give this even more charm.

A stylish white bouquet brings a lot of classic elegance to your home in winter. If it’s bleak outside, these soft, light hues help bounce around the light and add brightness to the long dark nights. And if there’s snow on the ground, well, a gorgeous display of creamy, white roses and hydrangea fit right in with the natural order of things.
