While we may still have a few weeks of winter left here in Louisville, at Nanz & Kraft Florists, we’re starting to see our spring haul come in. And by haul we don’t mean from the garden—though that would be nice—we mean the bright flowers and plants (and blooming plants) that herald the arrival of spring. So while it might not look like it yet outside, we have exactly what you need to turn your inside spaces right around the corner into spring.

One of the best ways to do that is to put some green bloomers (in this case,  African Violets) on the windowsill. At least, we imagine these purple and white stunners set in three cute ceramic pots would look right at home on a sunny windowsill, but the truth is this would work anywhere.

This is the perfect segue into spring—the deep, rich violet contrasting with the white; the thick dark green of the leaves; and just a touch of moss at the base of each plant. There are so many plants and flowers traditionally associated with spring, everything from crocus to daffodil to tulip to hyacinth. We hope to work with all of them.
