We may be headed towards the summer, but there is still plenty of opportunities to celebrate how amazing spring can be! Beautiful days nestled between winter cold and summer heat beckon us to come outdoors and enjoy, and the mood is a bit more carefree than it has been. Whether you want to congratulate a graduate, send love to the birthday girl, or have a gorgeous bouquet delivered just to let them know they are on your mind – Nanz & Kraft Florists has all of the spring floral arrangements you’ll need. Late spring flowers include many of the flowers showcased in Springtime Stroll (shown below). This wicker basket is overflowing with gerbera daisies, roses, snapdragons, and Matsumoto asters.
What’s in a Name? The snapdragon got its name from the odd shape of its bloom, which resembles a dragon’s head. If you pinch the sides of the flower in, it looks like “the dragon” is opening and closing its mouth – “snapping” it shut. Matsumoto asters, which are comprised of a colorful disk center (generally yellow) surrounded by compact florets of a contrasting shade, most likely were named after a region in their native China.

Pocketful of Sunshine is one of our favorite spring floral arrangements, and features vividly bright lilies, roses, and sunflowers in shades of sunshine! Green hypericum berries and white hydrangea set off this very happy design sire to deliver all the joy of the season.
That’s a Sunflower? The common sunflower has a dark disk center surrounded by yellow ray flowers, but sunflowers actually come in a variety of colors. The yellow sunflower is monochromatic but still boasts a multitude of uses, from dietary to medicinal to household! This exceptionally versatile bloom is truly one of the stars of springtime.
