They’re some of our must undersung heroes, working tirelessly to educate, nurture, inspire and protect some of our youngest and most helpless citizens. In between, they raise their own children. They are our best friends, sisters, aunts, mothers, colleagues and neighbors. Teachers and Nurses Appreciation Weeks run from May 6 through May 12 this year, a time to honor the people—mostly women, in these female dominated fields—who empower the rest of us. Nanz & Kraft Florists knows just what to give these super ladies.
What better way to show our thanks than to hand over (or have delivered) a Ceramic Dish Garden, with its variety of plants creating a lush and yet perfectly-scaled desktop piece? It will not only look great on the teacher’s desk or at the nurse’s station, but in two spaces notorious for germs, it will also help cleanse the air. There’s nothing quite like the look of that healthy green to both boost spirits and connect us back to nature. If we’re working a 12-hour shift or wishing it was recess already, that connection to nature can be everything.
We should honor our nurses and teachers all year long, but in May, give something that makes your gratitude concrete. Offering your wonder women a special ceramic garden is one way to ensure that your thanks last.
