Dinner Decor for Veterans Day

Every Veterans Day, we gather to honor those heroes in our community who served in the U.S. military to protect and defend our country. In Louisville, we’re fortunate to call many of those veterans friends, neighbors and family. And on or around November 11, we acknowledge their incredible efforts and bravery publicly with parades and observances. We may also be honoring our favorite patriots closer to home, around our own dinner table.

Here at Nanz and Kraft Florists, we’ve got a variety of floral arrangements just perfect for your Veterans Day dining table.

At a meal intended to commemorate a veteran, it’s important to keep the poignancy of the occasion in mind, but also to keep a celebratory mood. Choose a centerpiece or other floral decor that pays tribute to the USA and the guest of honor. With its trumpet-like calla lilies, red gerbers opening like fireworks and sprawl of blue delphinium, our Star Spangled Honor design is a worthy contender.

This centerpiece is striking, proud and festive, and should make your veteran feel as though you kept him or her in mind throughout your dinner planning. This piece can also be taken home afterward as a gift. By using symbolic colors and florals that reference our U.S. military’s emblems, you’re stressing the significance of the occasion and beautifying the scene all at once.

At Nanz and Kraft Florists, we join you in honoring our local veterans this November 11.
