Your orchid plant will flourish indoors under normal lighting conditions, with indirect sunlight being the most advantageous. Overwatering is one of the most common  mistakes with orchid care. Water every 5-7 days depending on temperature and humidity. The best way to determine if it's time to water is to place your finger several inches into the soil. If it feels damp, do not water. If it feels dry, water immediately.
